What games would you recommend people play? If you're gonna use an acroynym for video game titles (such as WoW for World of Warcraft) please say what the acronym stands for as not everyone will necessarily know. Also say what system it is for. I recommend: Tales of Symphonia (GC) Tales of Phantasia (SNES or GBA, though preferrably the SNES version) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64, if you haven't played this and you have an N64, you're a nub ) Super Smash Bros (N64) Super Smash Bros Melee (GC) Final Fantasy 6 (SNES), 7 (PS1), 10 (PS2) Starfox 64 (N64, again you own a N64 and haven't played this, you're a nub) Harvest Moon (SNES, so daaaamn addictiveeeeeeee) Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana) 3 (SNES) Can't think of any others right now...

Oh! I recommend Makai Kingdom
You really should play it, it's REALLY fun. And in the words of Overlord Zetta(The protagonist of the game.) "I'm the most badass freakin Overlord in the cosmos!" and now... "Disperse loyal battle monkeys!"

I would never play it, but I like watching him go through the story scenes. I also love a couple of the songs from the game. The songs that are in the last levels (my absolute fave) and another one called Makai Fusion, which is basically a technosized version of the Makai theme music. And I found this awesome pic. It was someone's sig on another forum:

Lol, that's not editted at all. He actually calls it sucky dumb thing. Zetta is hilariously amusing, regardless.

I laughed so hard when he said that the first time. The whole game is full of funny crap like that. As aspected of Nippon Ichi

But that's why I love Nippon Ichi, a lot of games and animes are usually derived on a serious nature in order to be a good game, however, Nippon Ichi makes the game really good and manages to keep the atmosphere of the game in a light and amusing tone throughout the entire game, except for the end of course. Another game that I'd recommend playing is 9 Dragons.
It's an online game still in Open Beta testing. It's free to play and is based off of China during the Ming Dynasty, I believe. you get to choose 1 of 6 clans to join, each specializing in their own ways of combat, and each with their own motives. Initially, 3 of the clans are good, the other 3 are considered to be bad. If you were to play the game, for some reason, I'd think you'd join the Sacred Flower Clan, since it's a female-only clan, and specializes in using Daggers and Chakrams. If you're interested in seeing how the game is played, you can use my account. I have a character for almost all of the clans, each at a moderately average level.

And well...if it was Japanese (not to sound prejudice or anything lmao but I just prefer Japanese related stuff) I would be more intrigued. What is it basically...about? Like do you go around beating the crap out of random shit? lol Or do you go on missions or something?

The storyline of it is based off of the war of the 9 dragons, in which 9 people set out in a duel against each other in order to see of whom were the strongest. Each of the 9 people came from a respected clan. Now, apparently, after the duel had ended, all 9 duelists disappeared and the clan had closed their gates for a number of years, only to re-open them and recruit new people into their clan. Of the 9 people that disappeared, depending on which clan they came from, it will be technically your goal to find out what happened to them. For example, the person that represented the Sacred Flower clan in the war of the 9 dragons is the Mistress of Chaos. As you join the clan and do more and more quests, you'll find out that she had ties to at least 4 of the other clans.

I recommend -
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - As long as you have no life, you will be safe to play it. The game is freaking huge, and long. If you play the PC version, you will never run out of things to do, thanks to all of the mods available.
Metal Gear Solid - If you enjoy spy movies/stealth games you owe it to yourself to play this gem. It's probably one of the greatest games ever crafted, from the storyline to the visuals.
Devil May Cry - Seriously, if you own a PS2, and haven't at least tried this one, there's something wrong with your brain. What's not to love about a badass main character in a red coat, that wields a sword and guns at the same time? The gameplay is surprisingly fluid, and the visuals are equally nice.
Mercenaries - Whats not to love about being able to go around a rather large map, and basically blowing up whatever the hell you want?
Gran Turismo - This one I recommend to the gear heads ( both those who are just getting into cars, and those who have loved them their entire lives ). If you love tweaking your engine to perfection, and being able to drive just about any car you can dream of, at almost any track in the world, this one's for you.
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Whether you get the Dreamcast version, or you get the version packaged with the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, you must play this one..even if you aren't a Street Fighter fan.

I've heard a lot about the Elder Scrolls game. Metal Gear Solid I hear too much about. I mean I don't doubt it might be a great game, but sheesh . Devil May Cry I watched my brother play and it was bitchingly hard lol. Mercernaries, well hey! I love blowing random crap up! That sounds like the game for me! ;D Not a fan of car games...only racing game I like is Diddy Kong Racing for the N64. I don't think I've even heard of that Street Fighter game, but I happen to like Street Fighter so I might check it out. And on an aside note, SniperFox, I also live in Tampa, Florida.

I had a bad first experiance with Elder's scroll x.x
I still can't believe the box actually works.....
Devil May Cry, is actually much easier than it looks. The only reason I ever had trouble playing it was because Dante had a distinct resemblance to an ex-friend of mine, of which is an attention-wanting, selfish emo. *sweat drop*
Not much of a demolition type of person. I prefer to build things and raise armies of chaos?
Gran Turismo, really needs no comment. It really is THAT good. Hell, the name even sounds sexay!
I think I remember playing that game....And O-M-G, Twelve is the cheapest character in the game!

Mhm. He's a really pale freak that can mimic people and turn his limbs into weapons. Also, he was the only character that can do Air-dashes and move in mid-air. And to make things even more harder, when he ducked, he basically became one with the ground, so he getting him with ranged attacks was near impossible.

Especially how people actually try to do those uhh... Those immitations of their fav character by dressing exactly like them =.= It insults the character in the game itself kinda =.= But getting back to the topic. Best game to play is Zone of the Enders. OMG JEHUTY IS SOO KEWL. Plus if you like mecha combat this is the game to play for PS2. Too bad not a lot of people heard about this game. It kinda died out because of the very few sales it had... And if you played Metal Gear Solid 2 or 3, You'll notice that Hideo Kojima or w/e was trying to promote Zone of the Enders back because of all the Z.O.E boxes and the Jehuty model in Metal Gear Solid 3. I'm guessing he was trying to bring it back up or something, cause why else would he advertise his own game in a more popular game? O yeah, Play Kingdom Hearts. Its not a bad game even though its a Role Playing Game intended for kids ;D *Kairi in number 2 looks soo hot @.@* Xenosaga isn't a bad Role Playing game either

I like Kingdom Hearts mostly for the characters and the story. The camera angles drive me friggen crazy though.
