Good question.... I love to read, so over time I've found quite a few brilliant authors. Some of my favourites are Brian Lumley, Graham Masterton, Kathy Reichs, Karin Slaughter, Harry Turtledove, Joe Abercrombie, Joe Hill, James Patterson, Tim Severin... etc...
