men will always be men and you cant change that in society, its a lot harder for a guy to be bisexual than a female. people just end up calling him gay or a fag

Guess I forgot to add the "almost" in thar. Whatever the hell. I mean, they ARE alright with it if they don't even know- 'Coz...y'know- They don't KNOW
In actuality, it really depends on how strongly one believes in religion. If they follow the bible throughly, then that may affect their views, yet if a gay or bisexual Catholic person were to come out
So no, not all religion. They're more or less guidelines anyway. If someone goes by religion, their not shaping much of a (good) life for themselves now, are they?

Yeah, I think the whole debate they're having over gay marriage is mostly religion-based because I was sure America was supposed to have separation of church and state. It's ridiculous. I do think that people can genuinely be attracted to both genders and are not just faking it to be "cool" or "trendy" or whatever.
But what about kids, 14 & 15 and such claiming to be bi? Can you really decide that at such a young age? At first I adamantly believed that, no you can't at that age, but then I rethought it and put it into a different perspective. Being bi is the same as being...straight. So if a 14 year old girl can know she likes guys, then she can also know she likes girls too, right?
So what do you think? Discuss bisexuality and such.[/b][/quote] As for this question, I think someone can be born bi, and just not discover that they are until later in life since normal convention teaches us we're supposed to be straight (if you come from an average family household). So any thoughts toward the same sex are not acted upon because the person may not realize why they're thinking it. I don't know, it's hard to explain..l I guess a good example would be a girl who's bi who thinks people of the same sex are pretty, but rationalizes those thoughts as her judging other girls the same way girls tell each other they're pretty, they like their outfit, etc...So the girl might not realize she's bi until she comes to terms with the fact that she thinks a girl is pretty because of sexual attraction. So I don't think age matters when it comes to figuring out that a person is bi, but yes there are probably those who just say they're bi to get attention or to be cool.

Unfortunately, and it's a shame, but some parents will teach their child not to "be gay", that there or certain rules one gender must not break, a certain line one must not cross, or to simply dislike gay/bi people and put them down.
Our reaction to something we know nothing about is to also push it away.
@goosetaco:: Fuck this asshat president

ya i agree with bloodfusion and the other taco fuck bush and i really think it was wrong of him to mix religion with politics but if you think about i, the presidents religion is based on popular vote in that category i think or something like that it all comes down to the acceptance of the family to approve if the person is gay or not some hide in fear while others are open to them

Which is a shame, really.
Some kids would die, rather than to open up All because of some idiotic gutless parents and family members
