I was watching Dora the Explorer with my girlfriends lil niece and noticed that it's an ingenious, insightful and sophisticated discussion on some of life's most important issues. One aspect of the show is the subtle discussion of an important question for modern society; based purely in the antagonist, Swiper the fox. Can we, as a society, judge a person on their actions when we are solely responsible for their current state? Can Swiper be blamed for swiping if he is merely the bowling ball heading towards the pins, set off by the environment around him? Too often is a black and white world-view used to place blame on an individual, or rather, to absolve blame from society.
Discuss.

What the fuck?
And on a serious note, I've noticed that in those shows geared towards kids (like on Disney channel and stuff) everyone always forgives each other in the end. So I was just thinking about how kids who watch those shows religiously might actually be influenced by it and actually believe forgiveness comes that easily. I suppose it could be a good and a bad thing.[/b]

You can not forgive that easily. It'll take time before things are straightened out. Hell, ask me about it... I'm the poster child of problems.
But anyway, I hate those preschool shows. Especially Little Einsteins on Disney. Like a five-year-old's going to know who the hell some classical composer is. I'm pretty sure that I'd forget what they were talking about if were five-years-old.
