Yeah, actually, you should. It's not bad, in its own little way.
Watch The Haunted Palace too; that's a pretty solid film for the time.

Yes; both Last Man on Earth and Haunted Palace do. Last Man on Earth is the whole I Am Legend trip, and Haunted Palace is the very first film to mention the name "Cthulhu."
Neither should be overlooked for atmospheric points.
