it's not like it matters either way most drink at 18 many before that. reducing the legal drinking age will chang little so why not. hey maybe then the cops could find something productive to do instead of hassling kids just trying to have a good time. if your mature enough to drive, vote, and join the military then why aren't you mature enough to drink?

Against it
If those little fuckers can drink at 18, I don't wanna be the one dead from their driving under the influence. Fucking kids They're STILL KIDS
Unfortunately, most kids don't MATURE until about...what? 30?

Hmm, as Im 13, but im not a fan of people drinking at a young age. Im pretty sure it should be 21.

[shadow=blue,left,300] The age shouldn't be lowered to 18.
All that is going to do is up the accidents into 7 digits per year because everyone and their dog is going to drink then.
I can wait until 21 and so should everyone else.
Sadly it's people who have no future that decide to drink and do drugs at parties, and instead of killing themselves they decide to take people with them.
@ acapollo:
Actually if you enlist in the army (except air force I think. Don't want drunk pilots) you are able to buy alcohol if you're on base. [/shadow]

I'd like it lowered just so I could legally drink. However, seeing as there are plenty of asshat immature people at 18 who shouldn't be allowed to drink or even drive, I think America would be a much more dangerous place if 18 year olds were allowed to drink.[/b]

i don't think things would chang much at all everyone how would drink likely already is drinking illegally now anyways. not that i support drinking personally i barley drink ever. but i don't see how changing the drinking age will make much of a difference as to who is drinking.

Right! So it doesn't have to be lowered!
They'll get it either way, but why not make it harder...? Getting younger people to drink, means more money for these companies.

[glow=blue,2,300] And I don't really get why College campuses are saying that lowering the drinking age would help the students in their studies.
