You know how some ppl say that video games are for kids, grow up...or whatever.. Do you think that playing video games gives you a title of immaturity? No, Not at all. Video games have improved so much, the intricacies actually make it alright for older people to play it. Video games such as Medal of Honor, BattleField, and CounterStrike...these games are played from teens to people in their twenties. Back in the day, video games weren't as big of a craze as there is now. The audience is growing and playing games is simply a pass time now, as is being on the internet, watching T.V and listening to music.

Soon our generations will catch up with technology and you may one day encounter a elderly person at the age of 70 may play Age of Empires. But most people grow out of those sort of things, but still, my dad plays Halo 2 more then I do.

I was on the Steam forums, checking things out, and I found out that people in their 30's to 40's are playing Team Fortress 2 as we speak...

[glow=red,2,300] It depends on whether you have the emotional maturity to NOT throw the TV out the window. XD [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] ^ That was my point, I don't think people who do that should even play games.
Now I'll admit that there have been times where certain games have made me want to punch babies, but I restrain myself when I get to that point and listen to metal. [/glow]

Actually most games these days aren't geared towards a young audience. With the difficulty levels, complexity, and mature content of lots of games out there, the video game industry is mostly for older teens and up. Note I said mostly. There are plenty of kiddy games out there, like the stupid games based off of Disney characters and crap.[/b]

@luna:: But then you get the creepy fan girls whose only intentions are creating rape fantasies with the characters!
Actually the first KH game got me back into Alice in Wonderland The Nightmare Before Christmas level was fun Other than that...I prefer it to Final Fantasy, though they're the same
The little kid games are to attract the kids when they're teens so they still have an audience later or something Sure, this would easier if they just made BETTER video games...

At that point, yes It's definitely the parents' fault for not monitoring their children at least SLIGHTLY
