I thought that was really good, I was a bit confused about passage of time but it worked so it doesn't really matter. Yeah, I really enjoyed it.

Thank you. I gave your story a bit of a critical glance...perhaps a bit much, hope you don't mind.
By the way, that other thing I was writing? Haven't looked at it in days. I'm planning on showing you the writing process through it though, so, that'll be a REAL big treat, I know you all can't wait...

The critical stuff was fine, I haven't had masses of feedback on that story other than "oh that's sad" which wasn't that helpful. And I'll look at your writing process thing when I have some more time, I have to go eat now.

Well, eating is also nice, true, true enough...

I had to eat my lunch, and yes food is good. I've commented on it now as well...

It was great, I really liked it! Entrancing!
questions:
Where is her apartment?
Where is this world, and what's it named.
Is this temple a transportation means?

I don't know, what do you think?
The Temple as a means of transportation is certainly an interesting idea. The world its in appears to have been created for it, does it not? Could the temple be a hub between worlds?
However, your interpretation of the Temple is largely based on your interpretation of the Bard. What are his goals? Is he evil or good? Or neither, is he more like a natural force?
What do you mean, "where is the apartment?" Do you mean where is Carol's world? Is it another world? Or could it be our own world somehow? Or is it connected to the world of the Temple? And, if so, to what extent? I mean, it must be at least slightly aligned to that world, but do you think it's the same world somehow? Could that be possible? Could it be all three worlds?
Or, perhaps, are you overlooking the obvious? Carol is the one spacing out. Can we trust her sanity? We're not presented with another point of view, and the character that seems closest in character to Carol is the Smiling Killer, right? He's got the same eyes. Are they both insane? Or, wait, are they both in on it somehow? Could there be a relation between the Killer and the Bard?
Well, what do you think now?

I forgot to remember you wrote like Poe. It's er... hard to tell, really. I mean it could be, I suppose.
