Do you think ignorance is growing so badly that people are being killed by it?
By ignorance I mean when a pedestrian walks out on the road and doesn't notice a car stopping and waiting for s/he to pass.

well the actual meaning of ignorance is not knowing.....and since we are humans we can't know everything, therefore everyone will be ignorant somehow. But the amount of information people don't know that should be known is getting out of hand. Although u can't know everything it shouldn't give you a right not to know anything. Some ignorant people need to be slapped for not knowing things.... Cha! Go read a book!

[glow=red,2,300] I see ignorance as a Voluntary deficiency of knowledge, Especially common sense.
When the person walking across the street fails to look both ways, when someone else is fully aware of what kind of mechanism resides on these roads, then I guess the person failing to remember is better off getting hit by the car.
One it will teach them a life's lesson if they survive, if they don't then there is one less mouth to feed. [/glow]

What I usually thing of an ignorant person is that they don't count as a human being.

I have a little bit, seeming we're debating about this. So here is my brief opinion...
I don't consider ignorance is a bad thing in general, but if you do it too much it is. Say if a person came up to you in the street and said "You suck, haha!" and you ignore him, that is fine. But when you do it a second time to the same person, they literally do think you suck.
When you ignore more then often, it doesn't just make people think you're an idiot, it also becomes a habit. I don't know if this is true, but it seems to be, people are ignoring some things they shouldn't.
(Yes, I do no that specifying yourself into your debate is bad, but it isn't worth worrying about seeming we are mostly on one side.)
