Should people with artificial limbs be allowed in competitions and major league sports and things of that nature?
I personally think they shouldn't. (This will sound mean so sorry) No matter how hard people... say with a fake leg, race and win.. They will never have an actual leg, so they will always be different. their moves are unnatural and there are no real muscles.
Anyone else think otherwise?

Yes Because it's something they love, and it's not like they're a fully functional humanoid or some shit.
They have no extra handicap (No pun intended) in starting or finishing a race, and they become tired using that heavy leg and/or arm, just as anyone with skin meats for limbs.

What? That's not mean, that's ignorant of you to say. If a person with an artificial limb can perform just as well as a person with real arms and legs, then what's it matter if they're different? Besides, they are only putting themselves in a situation where they are disadvantaging themselves. Why would it matter to other people then?
I say, if they are capable of performing just as well as people with all their limbs in tact, then go for it.[/b]

They should be allowed to if they want to and if they're capable. They should have the rights but they should acknowledge that they're in the disadvantage. Some 'handicap' ppl are capable and actually don't like to have to rely on other ppl so why make them rely on us if they don't want to?

if they have the skills why not. holding someone back just because there different is ignorant. besides just like all technologies artificial limbs are improving offering better and better. so if there capable of competing at the same level as others in that sport then yes they absolutely should be able to.
